Next week is small business week, so we want to take the time to highlight the importance of shopping small and supporting your community. Small businesses make up 99% of all businesses in the United States. Sounds hard to believe right? Well in the United States right now there are roughly 33 MILLION small businesses! We often say America is the ‘Land of Opportunity’ and it is evident in the number of Americans living the dream of being business owners.

These last few years have been tough on small businesses, so it is only appropriate to use this week as a time to celebrate all our dedicated staff and loyal customers. It is your constant hard work and support that is making our business and community stronger.

When you shop small you are choosing quality and experience. If we get something wrong, it’s our name on the line to fix it. If a shop bought by private equity messes up, so what? You’re just another task on their list of to dos. We care about our customers, and we care about getting the job done right.

It’s a small business that will sponsor your local tee-ball team or support your local girl scout troupe. So, this week take the time to go to your favorite local restaurant, shop at your neighborhood market. Shopping local means supporting your community!
