Another Great DECADE at Purnell Body Shop
Like a lot of businesses, we tend to reflect during this time of the year. What went well? What might we have done differently? That sort of thing. But, when you are in business for over 60 years, you also tend to look at growth over the period of decades. So, to all of our friends out there, we would like to thank everyone for helping to make the 2010s a great decade for us here at Purnell Body Shop! We could not continue to provide the high level of service that we do if it were not for the dozens of fiercely committed and incredibly talented folks who show up to this shop every day and work their tails off. We love you all and thank you so much.
We’d also like to recognize the growing Cecil County (and surrounding) area. We could not ask for a better community to serve. We’d like to thank everyone for their continued support and trust in our business to deliver quality, correct repairs year after year.
What’s next?
Our industry is changing very rapidly these days. From the cars that manufacturers build to the way that insurance companies handle claims, the collision repair industry completely reinvents itself about every 8-12 years. Think about it. Tesla, Audi, Jaguar, Cadillac and Ford have all introduced aluminum body vehicles into the marketplace in the last decade. From a technology standpoint, the vehicles built today have exponentially more sensors, cameras and security features than similar models built a decade ago. All of that tech needs to be put back in place after any sort of collision or damage. So, when we think about what’s next, if we take the last 10 years as a cue, the next decade is going to see that much more innovation from tech standpoint and equally as much as it pertains to safety and performance. And you can count on our team to be at the forefront of training and know-how as we have been these past 60 some years.
We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and we look forward to serving you next year and for many years to come!
